For Maths I had to see what happen if i put together two odd numbers and even when you put two odd numbers together you get a even number so 1+1=2 and 9+9=18.

 For Maths I made a table time showing the things that have been sold like how many gumboots were sold there was 12 pears of gumboots sold and the third one is the same as the second but the tyres have one more then the second because we had to put the same put with one more on the tyres.

For maths I had to find out ways to get to 97 I did seven ways you can get to 97 like you can go for a easy answer is 30+30+30+3+4=97. Why dont you have a try to make 97 you can counters, Lego and little bits of playdough.

Chef lesson

At home I made my own Pizza for dinner for Inquiry as well my sister was making the dough and I was making the sauce my pizza had cheese and salami it was so yummy and the next day me and my dad made cupcakes as well as the pizza.

 In reading we have been reading about the story  lorax by the author Dr Seuss.

For reading I have made a lorax out of shapes.

the main message was to not cut down the trees so the barbaloots could eat they fruit from the trees.

If we can help the trees we need to not pollute and we can't throw our rubbish around.

back in time in Ferrymead

 kia ora 

On Wednesday room 5/6 went to Ferrymead.

We got in our groups and got on the bus to Ferrymead. At Ferrymead there was a guy called Robert, he said there are 4 rules; " stand up straight,no hands in pocket, Girls first boys second and look after your shoes".

I felt very excited when we went to  school the teacher had a cane she smacked it on her desk I was so scared because it look like it was going to hit me.

Then we went to a house that we had to do job's in the house. I did washing,ironing and doing the bed. 

Last thing we did was baking, we made cookies mine was a dolphin my friends was a ice cream and my other friends was a dog it smelt so good in the bakery. Lastly we went on the train but it was not long because  we had to go back.  because other one was in front of us and stopped.

On Wednesday we were doing cross country. Last year I came 8th because I had a stitch. This year I came 4th it was so fun and tiring.
